We would like to share some difficult news with you. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close Toby’s with immediate effect.

COVID-19 has presented many challenges and the ongoing uncertainty has forced us to make decisions as a family, as well as a business, that we feel reflect our morals and values.

We can’t thank you enough for your custom and support over these past few months. We’ve been blown away by how thoughtful and considerate every one of our customers has been. We’re so very grateful to each of you and your poochies for coming to visit.

We love our community and all it has to offer. We would highly recommend two other local cafés for you to visit…

The Cellar Trust Café is a charitable organisation based in Shipley. You’ll be helping others every time you visit. We may even donate our top secret recipe file!

We also love The Little Coffee House in Calverley. We know the owners personally and this pretty café is a treat to visit.

We apologise for any inconvenience, this has not been an easy decision to come to. If anyone has any outstanding bookings or vouchers, please message us directly and we will do our best to help.

Thank you to everyone who’s visited Toby’s over the past couple of weeks, it’s been lovely to welcome you (and your poochies) back. We’re continuing to take bookings for breakfast and lunch, in one of our gazebos (seating up to ten people). For reservations, please message us on the number below or via Facebook. For anyone wishing to pop in for coffee and/or cake, our terrace seating is allocated on a first come basis. Take outs available as always and afternoon tea coming soon... 😊

We can’t wait to welcome you back!

We’re busy adding the finishing touches ahead of reopening this weekend and we’re now taking bookings for our gazebos, seating up to 10 people per booking.

For those who prefer not to book, we have a number of outdoor tables which will be allocated on a first come basis.

Inside you’ll find a one way queueing system to place your order, hand sanitiser stations, baby change/toilet and our usual water station. We kindly ask that only one person per party comes in to order. Access to the toilet will be for one person/household at a time and we ask all customers to sanitise their hands before and after using the water station (and baby change/toilet facilities).

We’ve got some new additions to our menu (we’re loving the deep fried brie wedges) there’s also some new sandwiches to try.

We’ll be open from 9.30am until 4.30pm each Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be serving breakfast until around 11.30am and we’ll stop serving food around 3.30pm. If you’d like to book a table please get in touch with your name, contact number, party number, preferred date/time and whether you’ll joining us for drinks only, cakes and/or food, that way we know how long to book for you and can keep things flowing.

We hope everyone is happy and well.

We’re delighted to be getting ready to reopen on 4th July in line with guidance set out by the government today.

Thank you for all your support, interest and messages over these past few months, it has meant a lot to us.

Things may look a little different when we reopen, we’ve added new hand sanitiser stations, spaced out the (freshly painted) tables and changed how we position a few things inside. We will be operating slightly differently too, there’ll be a booking/waiting list for tables to try and reduce wait times and to ensure each area is cleaned thoroughly between guests, if you’re staying to eat and drink with us we’ll need to collect your contact details to support the governments track and trace system and as a team we’ll be working with different processes to keep things flowing safely for all.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Toby’s. It’s going to be a new experience when we reopen, please do bear with us whilst we find our feet, as always we value your feedback on everything we do, please share it with us, we’ll be learning on the hoof!

As from 4th July we’ll be opening each Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am until 4.30pm, last food order at 3.30pm, we will remain closed Monday to Friday. We hope to see you, your families, friends, dogs, bikes and other wheels soon x

Good morning from everyone at Toby's. We hope everyone is managing to keep safe and well.

We are currently looking into new cake ideas... please do feel free to share your thoughts and recipes with us, either on here or by messaging us.

If your cake makes it onto our cake stand, we'll say thank you with a complimentary cake and coffee just as soon as we reopen.
