I'm glad to report that the Off Licence at the top of our row has finally had the craters on his part of the car park filled in, so now access through the top & bottom of the car part are easily passable.

There's a lot that has changed over the years, but some things remain the same...

Our Fish is made from a single piece of fish (not a larger fish cut down, nor smaller pieces stuck together!). The fish we use is Icelandic Haddock and our Regular fish & chips (7oz Fish) is £8.25, with our small fish & chips (5oz Fish) is only £6.75.

We have cut our operating costs and changed our methods to reduce our overheads to be able to keep our prices this low, but our suppliers costs keep rising, so these prices won't stay this low forever.

Very pleased with this: Paul Lister, one of our resourceful customers has used AI to add colour to the aerial photo we have in the shop from 1953 to make it look more modern, then has taken a drone and made a modern photo showing the same view as it is today!

It really shows how much the area has changed (there are a lot more trees, as well as more houses!) but also how Peel Park Fisheries has been at the centre of the community for over 90 years!
