September is just under two weeks away, which can only mean one thing… pie season is back at The Sweetpea Kitchen. 🥧

Pies are what we’re famous for, so naturally we’ve got three very good Pie Nights lined up this autumn.

🍂 26th September — Harvest Pie Night
🥧 24th October — The Sweetpea Kitchen’s Two Year Pie Night
🎄 27th November — Bradford on Avon Light Switch On Pie Night

And, as always, your Pie Night includes a drink of your choice: house wine, a pint of True Story beer, 0% beer or a soft drink alternative, followed by your choice of pie, sides and dessert.

£39.50 per person | Tables from 6pm

Gourmet burgers, local beer & river views… what more could you want? 🍔🍺

Bridge Yard Burgers are back again this Friday from 4pm at The Sweetpea Kitchen.

Free-range local beef, served in brioche baps, with beer from True Story Brewing.

The weather might be getting a little cooler, but with those open views across the river, you’ll still feel like you’re outside.

Gourmet burgers, loaded fries, crispy sides and a cold local pint. 🍺

“Make sure Lily greets us.”A recent message left on our booking system… 👀 Now, we like to think people come to Sweetpea for the good food, but we’re starting to realise there might be another reason some of you keep coming back. Lily. 🐶

She takes her role as Head of welcomes very seriously. Just make sure you don’t say the word “carrot” around her… otherwise she’ll be smothering you before your starters arrive. 🥕

We can’t promise amazing service from Lily, but we can promise she’ll be very pleased to see you.

And yes, she is available for meet & greets. 😅

Well, it’s 130 days until Christmas, so we thought it was probably time to drop this year’s Sweetpea Christmas Package! 🎅🏼

And we’re kicking things off with the one we’re really excited about…

🎄 Christmas Dining Night is back! 🎄

After the success of last year’s first Christmas Dining Night, we’re bringing it back for a second edition — with a delicious three-course Christmas dinner, festive drinks and, of course… a Christmas quiz! 👀🎅🏼

Yes, that is Clive dressed up as Santa. From many moons ago… Who knew he’s a man of many talents? You can really tell he’s a lover of Christmas. BTW, he will be wearing this outfit the whole of December 🎅

Hospitality isn't always easy...

Long days, early mornings, late nights and plenty of hard work all happen behind the scenes before the first customer even arrives.

But the past few weeks have reminded us exactly why we love doing it.

A special thank you to all our regular customers, and particularly the support we have had from launching our new Friday night Bridge Yard Burgers.

Seeing families enjoying the terrace, friends catching up over homemade food and drinks, meeting so many wonderful people (and plenty of four-legged visitors too!) has made it genuinely special.

As a small family business, every booking, every kind comment, every share and every recommendation makes a real difference.

So, from Ed, Clive, Helen and Lilly 🐶, thank you for supporting us. It means more than you probably realise.

Missed breakfast? No problem. Our all-day brunch has you covered. 🍳

When lunchtime calls, it’s got to be one of our handmade pies. After all, we’re the home of pies… and we firmly believe it’s never too hot for a pie! 🥧

If it’s after 12, treat yourself to a pint of True Story beer 🍺. Driving? We’ve got you covered with the refreshing Luscombe range or a chilled Big Drop 0% beer instead.

Good food, great drinks, beautiful views, and even better company. Before you know it, you’ll be heading home full to the brim after another day spent with friends, family, and the Sweetpea family too. ❤️
