The Pettitt family would like to thank everyone for attending Alan's celebration of life yesterday, for the generous donations to Alzheimer's Research UK and for the kind comments/stories about him on our last post. We sincerely appreciate the support.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan John Pettitt, co-founder of the Thai Barn and a much loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. 

Many of you will probably remember Alan from his time in the restaurant, where he loved chatting with everyone. 

All are welcome to join us at West Wiltshire Crematorium on Monday 28th September at 4.30pm to celebrate his life and say farewell. 

Please wear some colour instead of all black, just as Alan would have wanted. 

If you would like to leave a donation in memory of Alan then these can be made to Alzheimer's Research UK (alanpettitt.muchloved.com).
