Another beautiful wedding for Gigi this weekend. 💗🍦

One of the things I love most about this job is that I get a front-row seat to some of life’s happiest moments.

Today was filled with laughter, hugs, paintings, board games, dancing, sunshine and, of course, plenty of ice cream. Watching guests come together to celebrate a couple’s love story is something I never take for granted.

As much as I adore the buzz of a wedding day, there is something rather special about the journey home too.

The last ice cream has been served. The guests have gone off to continue the celebrations. The sun begins to dip a little lower in the sky, and Gigi and I head home through the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.

It’s in those quiet moments that I often find myself feeling incredibly grateful.

Grateful for every couple who chooses Gigi and myself to be part of their day.

Grateful for this little pink van that brings so much joy.

And grateful that after all these years, weddings still feel just as magical as they did when I started.

We proudly use fresh British whole milk and thick double cream to make our ice creams... No water, reconstituted milks, milk from powders or oils here - just wholesome ingredients, used with grace to help us create ice creams with a nod to the originals, the ones that made us all fall in love with ice cream!

Today was one of those slightly magical, wonderfully bonkers days that reminded me just how much love, creativity and effort goes into building a brand…💕🍦💕

her attention to detail is honestly second to none. Every tiny touch, every angle, every moment… she sees it all, and it shows.

We took Gigi into beautiful Evenley Wood Garden for something a little whimsical, a little fairytale, and a lot of fun… and of course it wouldn’t be a proper shoot without a little chaos too!

My gorgeous friend Mo from Rock My Dress fully committed to the vision — including changing into a wedding dress in the middle of the woods! Now that is dedication… 😂👰🏼‍♀️

I don’t have many behind-the-scenes photos, we were too busy having fun but today was filled with laughter, creativity, friendship and a whole lot of magic… and I already know the final images are going to be something really special.

Sometimes building something beautiful means stepping into the woods, trusting the vision, and possibly getting changed behind a tree… ✨🌸

After a tiny mishap at one of our last events (note to self: do not park Gigi under trees 🌳🙄), it turns out I need to replace the illuminated cones on the front of her.

Now… since we only serve proper artisan, scooped ice cream, I’m wondering if this is my sign to shake things up a little.

✨ Option A – stick with our current illuminated cones
🍨 Option B – swap them for an ice cream design that actually matches what we serve

I can’t decide and I trust your taste almost as much as I trust my own — so tell me… A or B?
