Brackley Forget Me Not Community Cafe is a not for profit community organisation.
We organise and run the Community cafe for those with dementia and other linked memory illnesses.
It's a place for caregivers to also come, to meet other caregivers, to sit and have a cuppa, to have some time away from the normal daily routine.
The room we have at Brackley Baptist Church has a calm feeling, it's spacious for activities like carpet bowls and magnetic darts and tables set out for table top games or just sit with a cuppa.
Whatever you would like to do.
The afternoon runs from 2pm to 4pm on the second Tuesday of the month, at:
Brackley Baptist Church Wayneflete Close
NN13 6AE
If you have someone in your family that you think would benefit then please bring them along or a friend who is dealing with dementia please let them or their caregiver know that this facility is available to them.
Chris (Christine) and I (Julie) have been involved with other memory cafes before and Julie has a family member who has alzheimers.
She sees how the disease progresses and changes the person who is diagnosed.
All the dates are listed below to the end of the year, so we hope you can come along and have some time out from the normal routine.
