We love coffee and believe that the UK has only just started on the journey of coffee appreciation. There's a lot to know and we're committed to keeping on top of the latest coffee trends and developments to get the best coffee to you at a great price. We're two people who love roasting coffee and started a coffee roasting business. As we expand (details to follow) we'll add more

Another week, another roast. ☕🔥

We roast all of our coffee to order, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a smaller top-up roast on Saturdays.
Why? Because coffee tastes best when it's had a little time to rest after roasting. By roasting fresh and shipping quickly, your coffee arrives just as it's entering its sweet spot – giving you the best flavour, aroma and brewing experience possible.

☕ Freshly Ground? No Problem.

You'll often hear that whole beans stay fresher for longer — and that's true. But not everyone wants to wrestle with a grinder before their first coffee of the day.

If you'd prefer your coffee ready to brew, we can grind it just before we bag and dispatch your order. Whether you're using a cafetière, filter machine, AeroPress, moka pot or espresso machine, we'll match the grind to your brew method.

We only grind to order, so your coffee won't be sitting around on a shelf losing flavour.

Every now and again, we do a quick calibration check on the roaster’s drum speed. Our software shows a percentage, but we manage our profiles in strict RPM to keep things perfectly precise—especially for the Brazilian batch on the go today. ☕️

​Getting this balance right changes everything:
​🌀 Slower (~50 RPM): Increases conductive heat (contact with the hot drum wall). Perfect for longer roasts to build a heavier, rounder body.

💨 Faster (~60 RPM): Shifts to convective heat (hot airflow) to develop brightness and complexity.

​Go too fast, and centrifugal force takes over—the beans just stick to the walls like a fairground ride instead of tumbling beautifully! It takes regular calibration, practice, and dedication, but that’s how we get your coffee just right.
