If you feel like the same triggers just keep coming, the same ‘stuck-ness ’ or emotional dysregulation; anxiety, depression, anger, malaise. Or you are just ‘existing’ not thriving…then it may be time to listen a little deeper to what your inner world has to say.
There is the possibility of being with our suffering in a more accepting way; being with our emotions as energetic information that have messages for us, to do this we have to go down into the body where they exist. This is where they reside and they are calling for our attention, they want to be seen.
It can be scary to feel. It hurts. There’s a whole world of distraction to avoid this. But it’s temporary alleviation and therefore ultimately unsatisfying.
When the space is safe enough and there is a willingness, we can dip our toes into this sea of aliveness that resides within.
We’ll be there to hold your hand, and the tender hearts of the group space will be there too, you’ll have privacy and support.
Throughout classes in Somatic Sensing, we’ll be looking at our organising principles: how we organise our world.
Our beliefs about the world, ourselves and others; and to question if these beliefs still serve us.
As Moshé Feldenkrais says:
