An event from the archives, Back to the Bear returns after several years break and the first event brings one of the best DJs and Collectors from the Bournemouth area; the legendary Chris Wheatley.
Back To The Bear invites DJs to play a set like no other, their personal collections, those records that are played only at home, on their own, with friends or after shows, rather than those they'd regularly play in their sets out.
A chance for you to see these DJ in a different light, and them to play records they'd not normally share to crowds
Having spent the last 30 years immersed in the world of DJing and record collecting, Chris was a no brainer to open up our re-launched Back To The Bear series. His DJ journey has taken him across the UK, and Europe, playing some of those most respected dancefloors and festivals. His extensive music collection spans genres such as Boogie, Disco, Electrofunk, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, Latin, House, and Garage, making his sets a delightful journey through diverse musical landscapes.
Support on the evening from Matty Richards who, another local talent, is a serious collector and DJ in his own right with music spanning across the Garage and House scene.
