Whole local Brill 🐟

Fresh whole Brill on the specials board this weekend, served with a rich burnt butter sauce & toasted hazelnuts.

A beautifully delicate fish with a meaty texture and a flavour between Dover Sole and Turbot.

If you love a whole fish, this one’s worth getting stuck into.

Keep an eye on the specials board over the winter for more whole fish, depending on what’s fresh and local.

After an amazing 6 weeks during the World Cup, we’ve made the difficult decision to bring our weekly Tonic Terrace BBQ pop up to an end.

Running two venues every weekend has been a lot for our small team, and with Koi heading into its busiest time of year, we’ve decided it’s the right time to put all of our focus and energy back into our original baby.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and supported us, every single visit has meant so much to us ❤️

We’ve absolutely loved working with the team at Tonic Terrace, and this definitely won’t be the last time you see us there. Keep an eye out for future events and collaborations!

From this Friday, we’ll be back to opening from 2pm on Fridays and Saturdays at Koi Sakana 🦪

When we opened Koi Sakana, we always imagined one day bbqing outdoors and shucking oysters in the sunshine. This summer, that idea becomes a reality.

From Saturday 20th June we’ll be taking over Tonic Terrace every Friday & Saturday from 12pm (weather permitting).

Expect freshly shucked oysters, charcoal grilled fish and seafood specials, served until we sell out.

We’ll still be open as normal at 1 The Triangle from 6pm in the evenings so you can enjoy Koi Sakana day or night.
