Dog friendly 🐾 Food served daily from 12pm—perfect after a riverside walk. Sunny outdoor spaces ☀️ or cosy log fire 🔥 Great food & drinks. The best way to describe The Spade Oak, a characterful country pub & restaurant in the sleepy, riverside village of Bourne End, is to imagine you're sitting in best front room ever. Relax by the fire or unwind in our a leafy garden with a pint of cask ale or well-chosen wine from our extensive list, and dig into a plate of delicious, home-cooked pub-food. The building was originally a collection of barns and outbuildings until someone had the good sense to transform them into a pub.
