We get asked this question quite a lot, so we thought it was about time we gave our four-legged friends a little shout-out! 🐾❤️

Here at Mrs Potts by the river cafe, we LOVE welcoming your furry family members! 🐕☕

Whether you’re out enjoying a lovely dog walk and fancy a pit stop for a well-deserved coffee, or just fancy a little treat for your pooch, we’ve got you covered! 🥰

🐾 Puppuccinos for your pooches
🏡 Dogs are welcome inside the cafe (just not on my side of the counter, please! 😂🐾)
🌿 And they’re more than welcome to sit with you by the river while you relax and enjoy the view.

And just look at this gorgeous little Staffy, one of our regular visitors! 😍❤️ How could we not love having faces like this pop in to see us?

So next time you’re out and about with your four-legged bestie, why not pop in, grab a coffee and treat them to a puppuccino? 🐶☕

❤️ A little change of plan for today… ❤️

We’re so sorry, but Mrs Potts by the river cafe will be closed today, Saturday 26th September, as we’re off catering for a very special birthday celebration! 🎂🥳

We’re so grateful for all your continued support and hope you’ll forgive us for having a little day away from the café. 🥰

We’ll be back open on Tuesday 29th September, ready with plenty of homemade cakes, good food and riverside coffees! ☕️🍰🌿

My Banana & Peanut Butter Cake — and this one is packed with the real stuff!

🍌 Real banana baked into the sponge
🥜 Real peanut butter in the sponge
🤎 Homemade peanut butter and banana buttercream
🍌 Finished with crispy banana pieces on top

All completely homemade by me, from scratch and with lots of love. ❤️

🚧 A LITTLE ACCESS UPDATE FOR TODAY 🚧

Yes, we are OPEN as usual today! ☕️🍰❤️

There are currently roadworks taking place around the rear of Botley Mills, with a new area being tarmacked.

The tunnel leading to the café has now been opened up and is being used as the access route to the rear car park.

So, if you’re driving through the tunnel, please:
🚗 Take it nice and slow
🚗 Be extra careful when passing the shop — it’s very close to the route and customers may be stepping in and out.
🚗 Please be mindful of the low height of the tunnel and check the height of your vehicle before driving through.
🚗 Expect pedestrians and other vehicles using the tunnel.

And for our lovely customers walking up to the café, please be aware that cars may be coming up or down through the tunnel. Take care, look both ways when entering and exiting the shop, and keep an eye out for vehicles.

We know it’s a little bit of a change today, but we are definitely open and ready for you! 🥰

Ohhhhhh, look at these beauties! 😍🤎

A layer of white chocolate Rocky Road on the bottom, topped with a thick layer of milk chocolate and finished with even more chocolatey goodness! 🍫

Packed full of my homemade shortbread biscuits, fluffy marshmallows and juicy cherries throughout… 🤤🍒

Basically, everything you want in a Rocky Road — crunchy, chewy, chocolatey and absolutely delicious! ❤️

Freshly made at Mrs Potts by the river cafe and ready for you to grab a slice (if you’re quick! 😉).

After our lovely summer holiday, we’re back at Mrs Potts by the river and straight back into the kitchen! 👩‍🍳🍰

The ovens are on, the mixers are going and we’re baking up lots of delicious homemade cakes ready for you to enjoy. 😋❤️

Just a little heads-up… there’s currently some work being carried out on the mills building outside the shop. 🚧

But don’t let that put you off! WE ARE FULLY OPEN AS NORMAL and very much ready to welcome you through the doors. ☕🍰

Mrs Potts is taking a little break and heading off on a late summer holiday around Scotland! 🥰

We will be CLOSED from Tuesday 1st September and will be BACK OPEN on Tuesday 8th September. ☕🍰💕

Time for a few days of exploring, relaxing, eating far too much 😂 and making some lovely memories!

A massive thank you as always for all your support — I’m so lucky to have such wonderful customers. ❤️

Don’t worry… I’ll be back with plenty of stories, photos and probably a car full of Scottish goodies! 😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Well, the weather has certainly decided to do the watering for us! 😂

But don’t let a bit of rain put you off coming down to see us. ☔️❤️

You can sit inside at our breakfast bar, or snuggle up under the tunnel where it’s lovely and dry, enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake while watching the rain falling outside. 🌧️☕️🍰

Or, if you’d rather stay cosy at home, pop in, grab your favourite cake and take it home to enjoy in the comfort of your own living room. 🏡❤️

We’ve got the cakes, the coffee and the dry seats waiting for you! 😋
