If you’ve visited me over the last few months, you’ll know I’ve had a bit of a love-hate relationship with my whipped ice cream machine! 😅

It chose to break down at the worst possible time… right in the middle of the heatwave! ☀️ After plenty of frustration, repairs, and a few ups and downs, I’m so happy to say…

🎉 It’s finally fixed! 🎉

And I honestly couldn’t be happier! 💕

At The Shepherd’s Hut, we believe our four-legged friends deserve to celebrate too! ❤️

Being located right next to one of the area’s most popular dog walking spots means we get to meet so many wonderful dogs every day. As a dog owner myself, I originally started baking pupcakes just for my own dogs… and they loved them so much that I decided to share them with yours too!

My dog cakes and pupcakes are made using simple, dog-friendly ingredients:
🍌 Banana
🥜 Peanut butter
🍯 Honey
🥚 Eggs
🌾 Flour
🫒 Oil

No artificial nasties—just tasty ingredients that are suitable for most dogs (unless they have specific allergies).

🐾 Pupcakes are always available at The Shepherd’s Hut as a little treat after your walk.

🎉 Looking for something extra special? I also make personalised birthday cakes and celebration boxes for dogs, perfect for birthdays, gotcha days and other special occasions. Every cake is handmade with love and can be personalised with your dog’s name.

Because they’re not just pets… they’re family. ❤️

Feeling incredibly grateful and honestly a little emotional 💛
Today I received a letter saying that The Shepherd’s Hut has been nominated for the Lincolnshire Retail Business Awards 2026 in the category of Best Bakery.

As many of you know, I’m just a tiny mobile coffee hut in Jenny’s Woods, baking in small batches with lots of love — so this came as a complete surprise.

I still don’t know who nominated me, but whoever you are… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Knowing that someone thought my little shepherd’s hut was worthy of something like this means more than I can explain.

Every coffee, every cheesecake, every brownie pot, every cake and dessert is made with care, and it makes me so happy that people enjoy what I create.

Although I’ve decided not to take part in the awards this year, it truly is a huge honour to have been nominated, and I’m incredibly thankful for the support and kindness behind it.

Small businesses survive because of kind customers, support, recommendations, and people believing in us — and today I’m feeling very thankful for all of that.
