A couple of new autumn inspired cakes this week. Yes, pumpkin flavoured items have already taken over and we’re not even in September yet🎃. This year, we might try break Starbucks’ record on how many different pumpkin spice items we can offer (if you shop big, you’ll know Starbucks seems to be the queen of pumpkin inspired items) but we think you should shop small.
Of course we’re aware pumpkin spice flavour isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and to be honest it isn’t mine either😂🤭but we have to advertise and promote it for those who do, don’t we?😁
So if it’s not your thing, we have plenty of other options. The new blackberry and pistachio cake looks a bit like the scary man himself (Frankenstein that is…not my dad in the kitchen when orders are coming out of his ears😁🫢) With a green sponge and a pinky/ purple icing it’s very fitting for the colour schemes of autumn💚💜🧡

we haven’t posted in a while as we were away on holiday and once we were back into the swing of things, posting on social media just got forgotten about😅
but, we’re back! and with summer still well and truly here why not pop in for an iced matcha or coffee, a refreshing smoothie or milkshake….or even a hot chocolate😁whatever floats your boat.

Hello all coffee lovers. Just a little post about the coffee we use here at Fawns Coffee House. Lonton Coffee is the coffee you’ve been drinking and loving since opening and it’s what we’ve continued using, since taking over.
A small team of 5 employees turn out the most amazing coffee at the roastery up in Barnard castle. It’s single origin, sustainably grown and ethically sourced. The team expertly hand roasts in small batches giving a fine dark fruit character complemented by a cocoa edge and dreamy finish.
So, with that being said, if you’re wanting something different then don’t follow the crowds! Many coffee shops use Northstar coffee- a brand you’ll find all over Leeds and wider areas. This gives us the edge for more individuality and uniqueness.
Why not go for something a little more exclusive?😁

Fawns menus have had a makeover💅🏼
Still the same great food just with a couple of tweaks.
Breakfast sandwiches are served until 11:30 but poached egg dishes (eggs benedict, eggs royale and poached eggs with smashed avocado and feta) will now be available until 2pm along with the rest of our lunch menu!😁
A friendly reminder- if you choose to dine in with us, please take a seat and we will come to you with menus and take orders at your table.
This helps us when it gets a little busy with takeouts at the counter and we’re unsure who is staying in or taking away. Thank you!☺️

Hi everyone. Apologies for the long delay in posting a message but we had some technical issues gaining access to the account 🙂.
We are a the proud new owners of Fawns & feel privileged to keep up the tradition of an independently owned business on the high street in the beautiful village of Boston Spa. We are a family owned business with husband, wife & daughter (Chris, Louise & Ellie) working here every day we are open.
We look forward to welcoming you all into Fawns & continuing with Becky’s reputation for great coffee & delicious home made food in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
We had a reduced menu for a couple of weeks whilst we found our feet & pleased to say we are now serving the full menu, so all your favourites are back like eggs Benedict and smashed avocado with poached eggs. All our cakes are still supplied by Katy at Harts & we have a great selection that changes weekly.
We have freshly prepared salads, home made coleslaw, toasties as well as hot & cold sandwiches made to order.
We will post regular updates now we are up & running 😁
