Hi all,

This post has been long overdue, so abit of information about ourselves.
So we are a family run business, run by me and my husband, mainly me.
We took over in early 2021 and still going strong. We are from Birmingham and moved here in Borrowash late 2021. We have 4 children, 18, 7 and 6 year old (lost our boy last year) Youngest 2 go to Ashbrook, so all very local.

I have a fantastic team of 3/4 behind me who do a great job when we are not here for whatever reason.

We do try our best but we aren't perfect.

I've attached a pic of us so you know who we are. ( sorry, couldn't find 1 with our uniforms on) also of my staff.

So the wait was definitely shorter!!!

Your Plaice are happy to announce we will be serving pizzas now!!
Going live from Saturday 18th October 2025!!!

They aren't on the delivery platforms as yet as i have yet to put them on. However, phone orders for delivery and collections will be available immediately.
Below are just examples that we have tried ourselves......

We have now introduced Southern Fried Chicken and Spicy Spuds with and without cheese!!!
We are also introducing something else verh very soon so watch this space! We have been working behind the scenes very hard to bring you the best quality food and we all are very excited, keep a eye out for the announcement 😀 😄 😊

I'm afraid the cash machine is out of action again. I can't do anything until Monday so it's only CASH ONLY until then, depending how quick I can get a new one.

I'm not sure people are aware that our GLUTEN FREE range is served every day in the evenings. Not just certain days. It's all on our delivery platforms to order too.

We only use our drivers for FOODHUB orders, we use UBER and JUSTEAT drivers (we have no control over these 2 platforms, when your orders leave the store).

Since taking over er the chippy in 2021, we had no idea what GLUTEN FREE is.

Since then we are seeing many many customers allergic to certain things. We have educated ourselves in this matter as it is a very sensitive topic as more and more people are wanting gluten free items.

You may or may not know that we serve GLUTEN FREE items every evening. If you have any questions or queries, please reach out 😊😊😊😊😊😊

I was very surprised (good surprise) to get this in the post!
The last few years have been really really hard for us especially 2024 which was the worst but with your support we are seeing a bright light at the end of the tunnel in form of being noticed to get this achievement!
Times are hard for all of us, however, your support has kept us going. There is no business who is 100% perfect and we all have hiccups along the way. We have had too but hand on heart I know we thrive to please all.
I would like to give something back to the community of Borrowash in form of winning this award so people come here and see how wonderful this village is and it's been a pleasure to serve and also have welcomed me and my family since taking over the business.
