Looking for a free, fun way to stay active, meet new people, and boost your wellbeing? 🎶☕

Join Y Plus at Café 1759 for Seated CardioGroove, an energetic seated fitness session designed especially for the over 60s. These music-filled sessions are a great way to keep moving, improve your mood, and connect with others in a friendly and welcoming environment.

This is a six-week pilot programme, so we're encouraging local residents to give it a try. If there's enough interest, we'd love to see these sessions continue beyond the initial trial period.

How do you feel?

Being a community café supported by Abri, we know that strong communities are built when people feel connected, valued and heard. That's why we're supporting the , helping to ensure that the voices of our residents and customers are part of a national discussion about the future of community life.

We all experience community life differently. Some feel proud of their area, some feel inspired by their neighbours, and some feel scared to cross the street. We want to know how you feel.

Take part in the National Conversation and share what you value, what you've experienced, and what kind of community you want to live in.

We'll be hosting a friendly facilitated discussion where you can talk about your experiences of community life and complete the National Conversation survey.

Refreshments will be provided.

📱 Participants will need to bring their own smartphone, tablet or laptop to complete the online survey.

🐷This summer, Café 1759 has teamed up with to bring you a family-friendly Pig Hunt around Whitehill and Bordon🐷

Twelve beautifully decorated ceramic pigs have been hidden in local businesses, each with its own unique name. Your mission is to find them all!

📍 Pick up an entry form from Café 1759 from Tuesday 21 July
🐷 Visit all 12 locations and write down the name of each pig
📝 Return your completed form to Café 1759 by Saturday 8 September
🎁 Everyone who returns a completed form will receive a small prize from the café.
🏆 All completed entries will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one of the unique ceramic pigs created by Dolly Pots.

Get exploring, support local businesses, and see if you can find all twelve pigs!

The book hunt starts at 12pm today. The books are suitable for ages 5 to 16, and if you're lucky enough to find one, it's yours to keep and enjoy!

We'd love it if you could take a photo of you and your book and tag us in it on social media!

Please remember:
📖 If the book you find isn't suitable for your child's age, or it's not a book they would enjoy reading, please leave it for someone else to discover.

📖 We want as many children and young people as possible to enjoy taking part, so please only take a book if it's right for you or your family.

📖 The books will be easy to find, try near street signs, trees, green spaces etc.

📖 The books are in plastice covers to keep them dry.

We're celebrating the National Year of Reading with a special book hunt for children and young people!

Thanks to a generous donation from The National Literacy Trust we have 20 FREE books hidden around Quebec Park on Wednesday 19 August from 12pm.

The books are suitable for ages 5 to 16, and if you're lucky enough to find one, it's yours to keep and enjoy!

Please remember:

📖 If the book you find isn't suitable for your child's age, or it's not a book they would enjoy reading, please leave it for someone else to discover.

📖 We want as many children and young people as possible to enjoy taking part, so please only take a book if it's right for you or your family.
