We need the following hours and job descriptions covered on a long-term basis (but there are also opportunities for regular weekday afternoons & evenings):
School Holidays - 3 x full days minimum per week (in addition to weekends)
Fridays - any 2/3hrs preparation for Saturday
Saturday - 8:00am to 6:00pm (to include a birthday party most weeks)
Sunday -08:30am to 5:00pm
We also need a Café Assistant on a Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
The hours can all be done by one person or split up, depending on preferences. (There is also an option for the Café to be let to be right person/people).
The successful candidate(s) must be bubbly and friendly as front of house, have knowledge and understanding of Barista and Café cooking role, and be organised, honest and trustworthy. They must also have a minimum of level 2 food hygiene certification.
We have a great team to work alongside with lots of activities always going on.
The job role will include:
•Sole responsibility and working alongside one or more team members,
•Front of house serving,
•Cash handling,
•Organising and maintaining stock levels,
•Baking fresh cakes, pastries, pies, etc.
•Preparation of orders in a prompt and presentable manner,
•Hot and cold food preparation and serving,
•Hot and cold drink preparation and serving,
•Birthday party catering,
•Cleaning of Cafe, it’s Facilities & Work Spaces
•Maintenance of cleanliness and tidiness within the café and its facilities,
•And anything else relating to the day-to-day running of the Café!
We are kind and reasonable bosses who are always open to suggestions for improvement whilst providing good rates of pay (depending on experience) with additional opportunities, bonuses and incentives throughout the year.
Training for all roles will be provided. It would be our preference to have 2 good people who like working together and enjoy being part of creating a route to success but again, we are open to ideas…
