Paul Gould ❤️
6th Oct 54 - 18th Aug 26
On Wednesday this week in Bonsall, we had the passing of a loving husband, father, brother, grandad, uncle, and a dear friend and confidant, to so so many.
So many in fact, that the village was practically gridlocked, two hours before the service, at Bonsall Church.
Indicative, of a life well lived, that in excess of 400 people, of all ages and background, gathered, to celebrate his life, and pay their respects.
The only other person I have ever met, who could talk about football in the minutiae, and as much passion, as my Dad, Eddie.
Paul once said to me, he could get in his car in Bonsall, whilst on the phone to my Dad, and still be talking about the same player, or football match, an hour later 🥴😆☺️
As we reflect on a life, I am reminded of what my Mum used to say, that time is priceless, and to give someone your time, is the best gift you can give. Paul, who was clever, a great conversationalist, and a well read man, still had time for everyone ❤️
A great listener, I know of countless stories of support and guidance for many a struggling soul ❤️
A much loved and respected man, thanks for everything Paul, from all your fans at The Barley Mow 🫡✊❤️
Our thoughts are with his family ❤️❤️❤️
