Love this ❤️

We need a team of 10 to 15 people, for a project in the summer holidays. It’s to do some work in a local school, for their garden. They have something in mind an idea (posted below, they have tyres thank you), they would like a little stage built and a water area to play in.

It already looks fantastic, but together we can make it awesome.

WATCH FOUND AND HANDED IN at The Jumbles Country Park Cafe

Somebody came in a day or so before reporting a lost watch but we don’t have their details!! 😔

Good morning!

A mains pipe has burst on Bradshaw/Tottington Road so we currently have no water. Cannot serve any coffees or hot chocolate etc at the moment 😔

Oh my goodness! You’re all making me get my steps in! 😂 I’m hiding all the found Easter stones and log slices each evening after the cafe closes. I had a whopping 27 to rehide today! 🤣

To ensure everyone has a fair chance to find one and join in the fun, please limit the number each child brings back to no more than two. You can still search for them of course but let’s give everyone a chance to bring one in and trade for a free mini chocolate egg. ❤️

It’s almost that time of year again! I’ve painted over 30 log slices and rocks ready to hide over Easter!

If you find one, take it to the Jumbles Country Park Cafe and swap it for a mini chocolate egg! 🤩

🙏🏼Please don’t keep any🙏🏼 - we really want to rehide them so everyone gets a chance to join in the fun, finding them❤️

We will be hiding them, on the cafe side of the reservoir ready for the Easter weekend and those that are handed in will be rehidden over the 2 weeks of the Easter holidays.

On behalf of Abbie, a massive massive thank you to all the amazing kind people who donated crocheted hearts for little Dottie. ❤️ your kindness will always be remembered

Calling all knitters and crocheters ❤️

On Monday 23rd March, a lovely lady Kate O'Hara visited the cafe. After seeing my handmade macrame red hearts she shared with us some heartbreaking news and made a beautiful request. Here is Abbie’s message and request:

“Dottie was born at just 28 weeks old.
Sadly, on the 21st March 2026, my beautiful little girl, only then 78 days old, gained her angel wings.🪽

The courage and strength she showed during her short time on earth was truly remarkable. My little girl always wore a little red heart over her eyes, a crocheted heart that seemed to appear out of nowhere when she was born. I believe it was sent to protect her.”

For her funeral, I would like everyone to wear small red crochet heart badges. If anyone can help and make them, we would all wear them with love and pride for our little Dottie, and we would be eternally grateful.

A huge thank you to Lizzie for all her kindness and help in starting this off for us ❤️”

I have seen so many times how this amazing community can come together to support and help those in need.

If anyone can please create & donate any small red crochet hearts for beautiful little Dottie, only about the size of a baby bell if that, and drop them off at the cafe or possibly arrange collection if they are not too far away ❤️ it would mean the absolute world to Abbie and her family.
