Rivington Village Green Tea Room welcomes the public between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm Monday to Saturday, and 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on Sundays. They also welcome owners with dogs, walkers, cyclists and large parties. Situated behind the Unitarian Chapel in the Old School Room of Rivington village, the tea room is a traditional relaxing environment where you can enjoy a tea or coffee along with a s

pot of lunch at reasonable prices. Rivington Village Green Tea Room cater for parties both large and small to accommodate birthdays, graduations, engagements and weddings to name but a few, and offer a wide range of food, cakes, desserts and a great selection of hot and cold drinks. Rivington Village Green Tea Room do have a wonderful Christmas menu which they have been successfully operating for the past 5 years with most of their customers returning to make their reservations 6 months in advance due to the popularity of this spectacular seasonal event. Rivington Village Green Tea Room are considering opening their Christmas service for 2013 on Christmas Day but for more information, please visit the Rivington Village Green Tea Room website for correct up-to-date information. Christmas menu will be available throughout the month of December and can be booked online at the Rivington Village Green Tea Room website. Alternatively, please call in at Rivington Village Green Tea Room and collect a Christmas menu. Every Saturday and Sunday, with the occasional mid-week engagement, Rivington Village Green Tea Room have a highly talented pianist playing. This only compliments the traditional and relaxing family environment. Rivington Village Green Tea Room also offer much of their cuisine to take-away, all of their food being sourced from local produce and being cooked on the premises. A full Vegetarian Menu and Kids Menu are available to cater for guests. Rivington Village Green Tea Room have recently introduced their own Arts & Crafts Corner where you can purchase books, badges and other commemorative souvenirs. Paintings and prints from local Artists are also available on display and may be purchased from Rivington Village Green Tea Room. A lot of the items for sale benefit other charitable causes including Bolton Mountain Rescue, Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, RSPB and Bolton Hospice as Rivington Village Green Tea Room are recognised as long standing supporters of worthwhile charitable organisations. Rivington Village Green Tea Room also has limited outdoor seating for smoking patrons and cordially welcomes guests with dogs.
