If your food bill comes to less than £100, we’ll cover the full amount.

WE’RE HIRING — FULL-TIME FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join us at Baker’s Egerton.
We’re a busy independent coffee shop, bar & restaurant, so we need someone who is confident working in hospitality and knows what good service looks like.
This is a full-time position and will include weekends.
You’ll need to be:

Experienced in a busy hospitality/FOH environment — experience is essential

Comfortable with table service, taking orders, running food and drinks and looking after customers

Someone who works with pace and urgency when it gets busy

Able to use your common sense and initiative — see what needs doing and get on with it

Hard-working, reliable and willing to muck in

Friendly, confident and genuinely good with people

Flexible with shifts, including weekends and some evenings

A team player who can communicate well with both FOH and kitchen

Barista experience would be a big advantage, but isn’t essential — we can train the right person on our coffee setup.

We’re not looking for someone who needs to be told every five minutes what needs doing. We want someone who can walk into a busy restaurant, read the room, spot what needs attention and get stuck in.

In return, you’ll be joining a small, established independent business with a close team where everyone plays their part.
