As another summer draws to a close, we just wanted to say a huge and heartfelt thank you.
We’ve had such a lovely summer at Deligo. Seeing so many familiar faces walk through the door week after week means more to us than we can say, and it’s been just as wonderful to welcome so many new faces too. Whether you’ve been coming to us for years or discovered us for the first time this summer, we are genuinely grateful for every single visit, every order, every kind word and every bit of support.
We also couldn’t do any of it without our amazing team. They have worked incredibly hard throughout the summer to give you the service, quality and standards you expect from us, often during some very busy days, and we are so proud and thankful for every one of them.
Now, for a little while, it’s time for family.
Phoenix is about to go into her final year of primary school, Skylar is starting her journey into secondary school, and Emma’s daughter Bella — who some of you may have met helping us over the summer — is heading into her GCSE year. These milestones seem to come around far too quickly, and we want to make sure we take a little time to be present for them before another busy chapter begins.
When we started Deligo seven years ago, we could never have imagined where this journey would take us. We worked every hour we possibly could, and since then we’ve somehow made our way through Covid, burglaries, recessions and plenty of other challenges along the way.
There have been moments when we genuinely wondered how we would keep going, and yet here we are.
And that is because of you.
Our community has supported us, backed us, recommended us, returned to us and kept walking through our door. You have allowed a small local business to keep doing what we love, to employ an incredible team and to still be standing here seven years later.
We will never take that for granted.
So from all of us at Deligo, thank you for another wonderful summer, thank you for supporting our team, and thank you for continuing to support our little business.
We’re taking a bit of family time before school starts, and then we’ll be back ready for the next chapter.
