The George Inn to the Eiffel Tower DONE! 🏁

It’s been one hell of a journey, but seeing the Eiffel Tower at the end of it has made every mile worth it.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared our posts, sent us messages and supported us along the way. The encouragement we’ve had throughout this challenge has been incredible and has genuinely kept us going. 💗

Most importantly, every penny raised is going towards Breast Cancer Now and the amazing work they do.

🚴 ONE WEEK TO GO!

Next week, Dave and Olly will be setting off from The George at 1pm, beginning their journey to Paris in support of Breast Cancer Now. 💗

Our first leg will take us from The George to Newhaven, where we’ll catch the overnight ferry to Dieppe before getting back on the bikes and continuing through France towards Paris.

After all the planning and preparation, it’s nearly time to get going!

🚴‍♂️ The George Inn to Paris Charity Ride 🚴‍♂️

This August, Dave the gardener and barman Olly, will be taking on a challenge that will push them both physically and mentally cycling approximately 180 miles from The George Inn, Felpham, all the way to Paris in support of Breast Cancer Now.

Setting off on Monday 24th August, we’ll travel from Newhaven to Dieppe before beginning our journey through France, with the aim of reaching Paris by Friday and returning to the UK on Saturday 29th August.

This charity was chosen by Dave and supports an incredible cause. Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, funding world class research while providing life changing support and care for anyone affected by breast cancer. Their vision is that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and be supported to live well.

Coustics Blues, Country and Folk Club is back at The George Inn Felpham tomorrow night from 8pm.

We jam from a book of about 40 songs, so if you play a bit of guitar, fancy learning some new songs, and want to meet some other like minded individuals - come down and give it a try!
