Pyjamas.
These have been a major player over the last 2 weeks - not in biscuit form, but i have had the decision of which ones to wear each day π€£
The last 2 weeks have been challenging as I try and adhere to the 'rules- of recovery - which is rest, sleep, hydrate, repeat.
The pain is mostly manageable, as long as I remember to think before I move, don't bend or twist and don't over do it. And I really hate sleeping on my back!
I am finding it hard to spend the majority of time in bed, but have realised it is necessary, even the simplest of 'allowed' tasks exhaust me (showering, going downstairs, have a 5 minute walk), but I am enjoying breakfast in bed!
My mum is now back home after spending 3 weeks in hospital after badly breaking her ankle, but is completely bed bound currently, and she is as frustrated as I am at not being able to do anything- and we both feel guilty for needing so much help. However, we do know our bodies need to rest to heal.
My husband is being a super π looking after us both (bless him!) Even if he is up and down the stars 50 times a day!
So that's 2 weeks of recovery down, let's see what the next 2 weeks bring.
Thank you to everyone that has been in touch, it's much appreciated.
I hope you all enjoyed the last bank holiday until Christmas - and good luck with all the return to schools!
