My last day here at The Reading Room and I just want to personally say thank you to every customer who bought a coffee or book, simply popped in, had a chat or helped share the cause we have here! I’m proud of the community I’ve been apart of curating and am so sad to leave! Of course you’ll still see me around when I visit, you can’t get rid of me that easily!
Thank you everyone, I’ll miss you all greatly!

We have some sad news to share at the coffee shop today.

Our lovely barista & bookseller Fern will have her last day working in the shop next Friday the 29th of May.

Fern has been the backbone of our coffee and specials since we opened last March, and not to mention our social media guru.

She’ll be sorely missed by staff, volunteers, and customers alike. But we’re very excited for her to start the next chapter of her life with a new move and a new job! ✨️

Make sure to pop in to say hi/bye this Saturday, with a good coffee (and Fern’s beautiful latte art) and good company.
