A little bit of “the boy who cried wolf” scenario I feel and probably deserved ….HOWEVER

A customer called “dirty Alan” came in last night and his first words as he came through the door were “I see you are closed on Father’s Day”

I questioned this and he had seen so many stupid posts on here about free giveaways etc on days we are closed he was simply not having it that we would give dads who ordered food a free beer or drink and just assumed we were closed and wasn’t going to fall for it

FOR ONCE IT IS LEGIT

any dads having food in here tomorrow can have a free beer, coffee or soft drink on us for Father’s Day

No catches but just because we are lovely people and you should all feel lucky and warm inside for knowing us

12:30-4pm but kitchen will close at 3:30pm

The only slight catch means that usually 13yrs and over can come in here without an adult but as the bar facilities will be available that has to be raised to 16yrs

The other slight catch for you hilarious lot is NO a 15p lolly or a 25p bag of haribo does not count as a food purchase !!!!! Anything over £5 will though so not a bad deal

Bingo tonight

Doors open at 6pm

No numbers this week as it’s songs instead for a change

£5 for the song sheet with it all going to charity and also £3 for picture bingo

Prizes are like our traditional bingo but there’s an extra prize for the best effort at singing along
Party hits from 1970 to today

Still tables available and doors open at 6 pop down for a good laugh and do some good

Yes our Lego club has traditional Lego building

Yes it has Lego movies on a cinema screen

Yes it has sit down video games but only multiplayer Lego ones to socialise with

Is there anything else???? Of course there is, we dug out Lego rock band so you can have multiplayer guitar Lego games too

It’s on until 12:30pm

Bit tired this morning

That gibbon from phoenix print (the one that looks like mr Baxter from Grange Hill (see photo), he loves it when you call him that) just pulled over to gesture to give me a lift then drove off

I gave him a gesture with one of my fingers too!!!! But as I’m tired I put the wrong finger up and made myself look even more of a nob by looking like I was pointing at the sky

Today might be a long day for me
