Good morning folks!

We still have some tickets available for our Comedy Night on Friday the 19th of June. Yes we know Scotland have a game on that night but it doesn’t start till 11, the show will finish by 10.30 at the latest, so you’ll have plenty of time to get home!

Also at only £10 a ticket for four cracking comedians (and Des McLean) it’s fantastic value.
The headline act Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolf has a show on in July at West Calder where the tickets are £19.50!!

One of our customers Kerry McMillan has just had her book published and it is available from Inkspot & Silverleaf Booksellers, Bo'ness in South Street.

We're pleased to have another new book from a local author in stock - 'The Life I Thought I'd Have' by Kerry McMillan.

This book is a raw and emotional journey through infertility, grief, and the quiet heartbreak of losing the future once imagined. It explores the pain of unanswered questions, failed hopes, loneliness, and learning to live in a world that keeps moving forward while your own dreams stand still. But within the sadness is also love, resilience, friendship, family, and moments of unexpected joy. This book is a reminder that even when life doesn’t turn out the way you planned, healing, hope, and happiness can still exist in the life you have.

Good evening folks!

Do you think the kids had a great time this afternoon/evening in the beer garden?

There were quite a few parents joining in a game of “peevers”!
It was great to see the youngsters enjoying traditional games.

We were very busy today and we know some of you waited longer than normal for your food, either at your table or for your delivery, so we apologise for that and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Good afternoon folks!
Two of our regulars very kindly brought us back a bottle of this French beer from their holiday in the Dordogne. Bier du Corbeau is a bit of an animal at 9%.
Corbeau being the French word for a crow probably had some linguistic influence on the Scots word Corbie dating back to the Auld Alliance.
