Join us on 2nd July for the first in our series of intimate wine dinners, hosted in our private dining room by General Manager, Mary Galer.

Mary will take guests on a tasting through the versatile world of Chenin Blanc. Beginning with a sparkling aperitif from the grape’s homeland of France, you’ll then explore New World expressions, a skin-contact Chenin, and finish with a dessert wine, all paired with Head Chef Dean’s, menu creation.

Mary believes that with its remarkable range of styles, it perfectly illustrates her philosophy that this grape can be enjoyed by everyone—you just need to find “the one” that speaks to you.

The Little George is now open, we’re serving pizzas outside from now until 9pm. The beer is ice cold, the sun is FINALLY shining ☀️ and we’re ready for a big weekend! Also serving pizzas 12-9 Saturday, 12-6ish Sunday and our £49 family take away/collection offer for 4 pizzas, bottle of prosecco or 4 beers, and a large soft drink is still available? FATHER'S DAY ALERT! 👨‍🍼 Pssst - a little birdie just told us that we're very nearly full for Father's Day on Sunday 21st June, which seems to have come round rather quickly! To check availability or book, please email us on [email protected], or 📲 01235 635053 from Wednesday, when we re-open. Serving extended lunch 12-5pm, with brunch also available from 10-11.30am if you want an early one 🍳 🥓 (and yes, cheeky morning pints are available!) 🍺

🥩 🥩🥩 Alongside our traditional Sunday menu, we'll be offering some specials for all dads, grandads and all the special father figures in our lives - 👀 watch out for that dropping here very shortly, for now the clue's in the photo...

🍕 Please note that George's Italian Garden will also be open from 12-6pm or perhaps later, serving pizzas and Italian food, and there's seating for well over a hundred, when you can enjoy a more casual time with Dad, with no reservation required. And even if it's raining, we've got loads of stretch tent cover! 🎪
