Since then, many of you have walked through our door — sharing meals, drinks and conversations with us.

Over the past year, some incredibly kind words have been left about our little place.

This was one that made us smile (and blush a little).

Kome is turning one soon. 🎉

Somehow, we’ve made it through our first year — powered by good food, good sake, and even better company.

From day one until now, every one of you who walked through our door to eat, drink and have a proper catch-up has been the reason we’re still here (and still standing).

If you’ve enjoyed your time with us — or at the very least didn’t regret booking that table — we’d be genuinely grateful if you could spare a minute to leave us a rating or a few words on Google.

For a tiny Japanese spot with barely more than a handful of seats, every single review makes a real difference. It helps more lovely people find us… and keeps us cooking.

Thank you for supporting a small independent restaurant in Blackpool. We’ll continue doing what we do best — cooking every bowl and every dish with care (and probably slightly too much attention to detail).

Valentine’s Day at Kome ❤️

Thank you for the many enquiries for 14th February.

Kome is a very small restaurant with just 16 seats.
As much as we would love to host everyone — and yes, we did briefly consider stacking people politely — we’ve decided to keep things comfortable and civilised 😉

If you’re unable to secure a table, we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

At Kome, we truly believe every day can be Valentine’s Day.

There’s no need to wait for a specific date to share good food with someone special.

You’re always warmly welcome to walk in — on the 14th, or any other day that feels just right.

Just a little heads-up for our lovely regulars 👋
Today at 2:00pm, we’re fully booked — 18 guests, full house, every seat spoken for.

So if you were thinking of popping by for a spontaneous lunch, you might want to save yourself a polite bow… and come see us another time 😄

The good news?
Yes — we do offer private hire / full restaurant bookings. Perfect for celebrations, gatherings, or simply an excuse to eat very well with people you like.

And don’t worry — we’ll be open as usual in the evening, so you’re more than welcome to come and visit us later tonight 🍶🍣

Kome – Temporary Closure Notice (English)

After sharing the joy of Christmas and New Year with all of you, we would like to give our Kome team a short break to enjoy the final moments of the festive season together.

Therefore, Kome will be temporarily closed from 5 January to 8 January.

We will reopen as usual on 9 January, refreshed and ready to welcome you back with warm food and heartfelt hospitality.
