Are you looking for a babysitter in the Blackburn w/ darwen area? 🍼🧸

My starting rate is £10 per hour with a fee of £2 per additional child.

I have over 5 years experience working as an assistant childminder, a current certification in paediatric first aid and a fully enhanced DBS. I have also spent time volunteering with music and craft sessions for children at the bureau in Blackburn.

In addition to this, as a neurodivergent person myself, I am well equipped to care for any children with additional needs so if your child needs that extra bit of support and understanding it will not be an issue at all.

Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or if you wish to book with me, my phone number is on my profile 😊

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 6:30pm-12pm
Thursday: 9am-12pm

BABY BOO TAKEOVER DAY - Wednesday 17 July

Do you have a little one 0-4 years? This day is LITERALLY for you!! Takeover day is an extra special day just for early years which completely takes over our amazing building! Themed after the theme of the Wakes, which this year is Rivers.

Watery Waterfoot – a wonderful sensory installation in the theatre themed around our local waterways, featuring projections, live singing and craft activities. Created and performed by Sue Auty, (Baby Boo) Zoe Harty and Sorrel Harty (Shared Sounds).
Help to create a giant woven ribbon river to flow through the hallway.
Lots of water play in the garden – fingers crossed for a fine day!
Experience our fantastic installation in the Cafe – ‘Coming Up for Air in Rossendale’, a pioneering installation project merging music, technology, and sustainability. Explore the interactions between live indoor air quality data, music composition, and live performance. Bring a breath and leave a breath. Live music by flutist Kathryn Williams.
Swapshop for baby clothes and toys, bring your swaps and go home with something new.
We’ll have a stall by Early Years Music Fun selling beautiful handmade fabric play items.
The event will be a rolling timetable of activities so there will always be something to join in with whenever you arrive.
Refreshments available throughout the day.

You don’t want to miss this day! Having your little one’s hand wrapped around your finger as they experience the wonders of this Takeover day! You’ll watch them laugh and smile at the wonders they see and wish they’ll never grow up and just stay this little

A lot of what happens here at The Bureau happens because we create and organise at home where lots of preparation takes place to bring lots of our different sessions to you!

Can you guess what this particular aquatic creation is?? 🪼

The Shared Sounds team have been hard at work on a new Shared Sounds programme at The Bureau Centre for the Arts, now on Thursday mornings. These new sessions will bring together the music of our old Tuesday sessions and the Bubbles and Felt art and craft activities we ran last year and will explore new Story Worlds with lots of Creative Play! ✨

The new programme will incorporate elements of music, art and craft along with opportunities for sensory play and stories for children from 0-4 to explore new creative worlds. Come and explore with us!

Dates are Feb 22nd & 29th and March 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th.
There will be two sessions;
1. 10am - 11am - recommended for ages 2-4 years (younger children welcome)
2. 11.15am-12.15pm - recommended for ages 0-2.5 years (older children welcome)
PLEASE BOOK ONE TICKET PER FAMILY.

For more info/to book your space, head over to our ticketsource - www.ticketsource.co.uk/the-bureau-centre-for-the-arts/e-ygekja

Classes are subsidised by a Youth Music grant. Sessions are free but optional voluntary contributions (£3 per family per session) are appreciated and will help us to offer this opportunity to more people. Please book one ticket per family.
