We’re looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at Meadow Somerset.

This is a 4–5 day per week position, with weekend availability essential. Starting in September.

If you’re passionate about great coffee, love working with people, and thrive in a busy café environment, we’d love to hear from you.

💫 What we’re looking for:
• 1–2+ years’ barista experience
• Friendly, welcoming customer service
• Confidence working in a fast-paced café
• A proactive, team-focused approach
• Weekend availability is essential

You’ll be joining a close-knit, family-run team where great hospitality and supporting one another are at the heart of everything we do.

The school holidays have officially begun, and Meadow Café is the perfect place for little adventures, tasty treats and family time.

🍳 Fuel up with our children’s favourites on our menu:

The return of one of our most popular evenings, with Stream Farm organic chicken cooked on Rotisserie alongside delicious seasonal sides.

An evening inspired by the flavours of Sicily, with Sally Edwards cooking over fire, a delicious sharing menu and a welcome drink on arrival.

🍷 An Evening with St. JOHN Wines 🍷

We’re delighted to welcome the team from St. JOHN Wines to Meadow Cafe for a very special summer supper on Friday 31st July.

Since opening Meadow, every bottle of wine we’ve poured has been carefully selected by St. JOHN Wines. Their passion for honest food, thoughtful hospitality and exceptional French wine has become an important part of what we do, so it’s a real privilege to have them with us to host this unique evening.

Throughout dinner, the St. JOHN Wines team will introduce each carefully chosen wine, sharing the stories behind the vineyards, growers and why every bottle has been paired with Sally Edwards Sally Edwards’ four-course menu, inspired by the timeless writing of Elizabeth David.

This isn’t a formal wine tasting, nor simply a dinner. It’s an evening celebrating the people, food and wines that continue to shape the way we cook, eat and gather around the table.

☀️ A quick update from Meadow ☀️

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast for tomorrow, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the café for the day.

We’re very sorry for any inconvenience, but the wellbeing of our team and customers has to come first. We plan to reopen as usual on Friday morning, with temperatures expected to return to more normal levels.

Fire Friday is still on! 🇮🇹 Sally Edwards will be hosting an Italian Night, with tables still available for the à la carte menu, plus drinks & nibbles on our Meadow View tables.

Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to welcoming you back on Friday. 💛
