The Announcement You've All (NOT) Been Waiting For 📢

It with with great sadness and deep regret that The Shire will not be opening for 2026 😢
This has been a very difficult decision.

As many of you know, we invested heavily into The Shire last year, more power, bigger pizza ovens, an outdoor cinema, alcohol and movie licensing...and even opening for a packed October with our Christmas Menu!

It was The Shire's biggest and most successful year yet!

But even with success, there have been real struggles. However...please don't write us off just yet... don't unfollow... plans are in progress to make The Shire even better, more sustainable in the long term.

We are so sorry to each of you who have supported us, especially those who have made The Shire part of their family traditions and will miss out this year.

WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND?! 🤯
THE SHIRE WENT WILD!!! 🤪

When we decided to open for October Half Term, we were expecting a chilled, relaxed week serving some of you our Winter favourites. With the cold, the rain, and the mud... we thought we’d only see the most hardcore Shire fans.

HOW WRONG WERE WE?!

This weekend turned out to be our second biggest ever — EVER! On Sunday, we prepared double what we expected to sell "just in case"... and still sold out of almost everything: every last Pizza, every Roastie Toastie, every S’mores Hot Chocolate — GONE!

It was bigger than every packed Summer’s Day except one. 🎉

Words can’t express how much we LOVE you all — your support, kindness, and patience mean the world to us. ❤️

LAST WEEKEND TO TRY!!! 😞📅

Our Homemade S'mores Hot Chocolate has become our best seller, but don't miss out on our other delicious tastes, including White Chai - White Hot Chocolate with our homemade spice blend, or our Colombian - Dark Chocolate with chilli and cheese! 🧀

We use our own homemade hot chocolate blend using expertly crafted cacao powder from France, and a delicate combination of sugars.

On top of that, we then add your choice of Belgian Chocolate, with 45% Cameroon, or 73% Vietnam cacao beans. Or you can go white with our Belgian 36% from Papua New Guinea beans.
