Right folks,

We are back open as usual from Monday, however, we will have to open at 10am.

I just need to get the shop back in order and move stuff about as we have had a new coffee machine installed while we have been away.

We will respond to all messages we have received at some point tomorrow.

I’d say it’s good to be back….if it wasn’t for the mozzys I may not have come back 😂😂

Right folks,

That’s us done until a week on Monday.

We are currently closed and on a weeks holiday.

To be honest I don’t know what to do with myself although if I hadn’t left my driving license at home I’d be able to do more stuff but it’s a time to be with the kids because we all know when we get back it will be bordering on the lead up to Christmas…..I can almost hear Mariah warming up in the distance 😂

The out of office we think is on but we can’t guarantee it as it’s an absolute pain. If we don’t reply to messages then his is why.

Evening folks,

Tomorrow everything must go.

All cupcakes £1.10 each
Everything in the fridge £2 each

We are currently on holiday and we won’t be open from Monday for a week….whats that, how’s the holiday going, well, let me tell you a little story.

I was packing on Thursday night, thought I don’t need everything in my wallet….so took my drivers license out….turns out you need that to hire a car, so aye, canny day. Thankfully the locals and the owner are great and we are getting ferried around…which means I can have a beer if I want to so it’s win win.

But yeah, everything must go tomorrow.

Just a reminder that the shop is open as usual today and tomorrow and then we are closed for a week.

There’s plenty of cupcakes, brownies and cheesecakes.

Evening folks,
A quick update about the next 2 weeks.
The shop will close on Friday 7th August at 1pm, however, you will still find us at Street Food Carousel in Bishop Market place 16.00 until 21.00.

The shop will be open as usual on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of August. We will then be closed until the 17th of August as we are taking off our one weeks annual holiday we get a year 🤣.

We wont be replying to any messages while we are closed and I cant guarantee the out of office will work but we will try and set it up. While closed we will be getting a new coffee machine installed after all the aggro of the last one!

Finally, we are rapidly approaching 10 years of the business (not the shop, that has a different birthday). From what i can remember it was around 24th of September....cant believe i was only 17 when i started this business 👀.
So keep an eye out for the weekend of the 26th and 27th of September. We have no idea what we are doing yet but will sort something out.....maybe even sell at 10 year old prices 🤣

Is wayne tied to a mixer and trying not to rock in the corner? Yes, yes he is!

So, instead of Wayne’s witty banter (I’m so sorry, I know you all love his rants!) you’ve got me to give you a bit of an update of what’s happening this weekend.

We’ve just got set up at Seaham Food Festival and are expecting a great weekend there as usual.
The food festival is open 10am - 5pm today and 10am - 4pm tomorrow.

Wayne is working our market stall at Street Food Carousel Hartlepool this afternoon from 4pm till 8pm tonight.
The street food market is located in Church Square.

Our shop is open as usual 9am - 4.30pm today and 10am - 4pm tomorrow, and it’s crammed full of cakes, brownies and cheesecakes.

Lastly, we thought we’d give you a bit of an origins story as it’s the 100th Kynren show tonight.

As many of you already know, our business started back in 2016 with Wayne doing a bit of home baking for my team at Kynren to keep our sugar levels up on show nights.
His skills quickly impressed everyone and soon after we started taking customer orders.

10 years later we are still going strong, but we’ve never forgotten where we started.
