Time for you Tearoom Bishop Auckland Time for you Tearoom is inside the four clocks building, home made cooked food and cakes There is something for everyone to savour.

Tucked away in the Four Clocks Centre, the beautifully converted Wesleyan chapel in the hub of the town, is a gem of a Tearoom. Enjoy mouth-watering home cooked food, quality coffees and speciality teas in unique surroundings. Why not pop in and meet our very friendly team. Clare took over the tearoom In March 2013, she works alongside her mum. Kelly is another member of staff too. There are several volunteer's who you will see along the way too. As we always try to help and give work placements when we can and we have had some great success stories of young people gaining employment and life skills after being a team member.

šŸš« BANK HOLIDAY MONDAYšŸš«
Just a reminder that we will be closed on Monday 25th May for the bank holiday.
We open again on Tuesday 26th May! Join us then for our delicious homemade Mince and Dumpling Mash and veg. See you all In the tearoom!

Just a quick heads-up about our upcoming closures!

Weā€™ll be closed this FRIDAY 1st MAY, while we have a new extractor fan installed in the kitchen.

Weā€™re also closed on MONDAY, 4th MAY, for the Bank Holiday.

Weā€™ll be back to business as usual and OPEN from Tuesday, 5th May, right up until the next Bank Holiday on Monday, 25th May.

We are always closed every Bank holiday. Thank you

If you heard some giggles from the kitchen today, itā€™s because weā€™ve been busy playing April Fools' pranks on our volunteer, Tracey!

From keeping her favourite knife constantly greased with Vaseline (no matter how many times she wiped it!) to doing the same to the taps, we kept her guessing.

We also rearranged the kitchen and moved things around and swapped a fresh egg for a hard-boiled oneā€”you should have seen her face when it wouldn't crack for the frying pan!

Tracey was such a good sport and we all had a brilliant laugh.
