A National Moment of Reflection will take place with a one-minute silence at 8pm tonight to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy.

Morning everyone!

So, we’re all ready to do this again on Saturday 17th September! 😬

Wristbands are now on sale from our clubhouse bar, adults are £10 each, children under 18 are free. All under 18’s must be accompanied by their parent or guardian please.
You can also buy your wristbands on the day.
Everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be a member of the club and last entry is 9pm. 👍
We have lots of seating but you’re welcome to bring chairs/blankets to sit on. 🥰

The event starts at 1pm and closes at 11pm and we have a fantastic event planned for you. 🥰

There will be a tribute to Her Majesty the Queen at 5.30pm where one of our long-standing members at the club will read a short poem. This will be followed by a minutes silence (there will be a signal at the start and finish) and we’ll then play the National Anthem and invite you to stand and sing God Save the King. 🇬🇧

There will be:
A great line up of bands ✅
A fantastic selection of around 20 Real Ales ✅
Some great Ciders and Gins ✅
Our usual full range of other drinks in our main clubhouse and three draft lagers (Carlsberg, Amstel and Moretti) and bottled beers and drinks in the marquee ✅
Please note that all alcohol consumed on our premises MUST be purchased from one of our bars. 👍
We will have some fantastic food vendors at the event - Tasty Turk, Carly’s Caribbean Kitchen, Smoke BBQ Kitchen, the Thai Station, Coco’s Crepes and of course Ell Tacos and Ell Churros! ✅
There will be Inflatables / Bouncy Castles and we have Vicky Connolly, a Face Painter/ Glitter Artist too ✅
We also have a Fire Performer / Flow Artist performing from 6.30pm 🔥

We’re also taking the opportunity of raising some money for three charities which are close to our hearts at the club - Susy’s Green Army - Breast Cancer Now, Isabel Hospice and Pancreatic Cancer UK so please bring some cash! 💷💷❤️
We’ll be supporting the Street Pastors who help keep Bishop’s Stortford safe on Friday and Saturday nights and also the Norman Cub Pack which serves Havers Lane community.

It’s going to be a great event and we look forward to seeing you there. 🥳
