We have completed our full renovation of our interior and exterior but only our Ceiling lights are yet to arrive.(Well worth the wait!)

We have an exciting Announcement .. James Dahl Will be closing from Monday 8th May to 15th May 2023 due to a major Refurbishment taking place. We will also be changing our Name to Blanc NRI Birmingham ( to match our sister branch Blanc NRI in Staffordshire). We anticipate to re-open in Late May.

Our Menu will remain the same however we will be adding many more new dishes to compliment our existing range of dishes.

Celebrate the momentous King's Coronation this Weekend with James Dahl and enjoy all your favourite dishes before we close on Monday.

RAILWAY CURRY: The original curry was served in the first class trains of the Indian railways and stems back to the British Raj.

"The story goes that a British officer ordered a curry, found it to be too spicy and asked for the curry to be milder. The chef added some yoghurt and coconut milk to the sauce to cool it down and the officer loved it."
