✨ A fantastic Open Day with R.Y.A.N Education! ✨

We recently welcomed 17 pupils and 13 staff members to YMCA Heart of England for a day of exploration, activities, and connection.

From meeting our CBC, Eden, and Youth & Communities teams to touring our new learning and recreation spaces, there was plenty to discover. The group also enjoyed activities including board games, pool, and dodgeball before finishing the day with a delicious buffet prepared by Eden Coffee Shop.

Most importantly, everyone left feeling excited and ready to start classes here in September. We can't wait to welcome them back!

💚 Supporting families, one play session at a time 💚

Over recent months, YMCA Heart of England has been delighted to host free Stay & Play sessions at Eden Coffee Shop, funded by Clarion.

Designed for children aged 0–5 and their parents or carers, the sessions have provided a relaxed and welcoming environment where families can enjoy play activities, crafts, games and a free breakfast together.

We have welcomed 133 attendances so far, with many families returning regularly to enjoy the activities and connect with others in the community.

Beyond the play, the sessions have helped parents and carers build friendships, access informal support and feel part of a wider community, while children have benefited from opportunities to learn, develop and socialise through play.

Thank you to Clarion for making these sessions possible and to every family who has been part of the journey.
