We absolutely adore our four-legged visitors here and we always keep the treat jar plenty full. We’ve even got a special space just for them — The Library, our dedicated dog-friendly room, perfect for our little and big friends to relax while you enjoy your visit. 💛

Get cosy and embrace the autumn spirit — we’ll be painting Golden Autumn Promenade, a beautiful seasonal scene full of warm colours and lovely vibes. 🍁

Our friendly instructors guide you every step of the way — just bring yourself, relax, and enjoy the evening. We finish around 9:30pm.

Join us on Friday 25th of September from 7pm to welcome the fabulous Distant Strings to our bar area. It is their debut at the Physician, so we are very excited to welcome them, as we have heard lots of great things.

These guys are an acoustic trio with the soul of a full band. They breathe new life into songs across genres - from the heartfelt sway of country to the pulse of classic rock and the sparkle of modern pop. 🎸✨

As ever, our live music is free to attend and enjoy no tickets required 🎟️ - if you would like to secure the best seats in the house, just send us an email [email protected] and we'll be happy to book you and your friends a table with a view for the evening.

🎄✨ We know it may be early for some… but we’ve started taking Christmas bookings here at The Physician! ✨🎄

It’s never too soon to secure your spot for the most wonderful time of the year. Whether it’s a festive get-together with friends, family celebrations, or your work Christmas party we have got something for everyone.

We have two private dining rooms — one upstairs and one downstairs, each seating 12 to 18 guests. For something cosier, our Snug fits up to 12 people beautifully. And for those larger groups, our Garden Room can seat from 18 up to 30 guests, ideal for big parties and full team celebrations! 🎅🍽️

So why not secure your festive spot now, don’t leave it too late and miss out. Our calendars are filling up fast and we want to avoid any disappointment. Please note there is a £10 per person deposit required for all December bookings to secure your table.

Meet The Team Monday! 👋

Say hello to Joe, who’s been part of the team for eight whole years! He started out as a Kitchen Porter at the Red Lion all those years ago, before making the move to front of house and joining The Physician as a supervisor. He’s worked his way up every step to become our Assistant Manager.

When he’s not here keeping everything running smoothly, you’ll find him cheering on his beloved Wolves, out on the golf course perfecting that swing that occasionally goes where he wants it to, or enjoying a well-earned pint while debating whether that last putt was really just unlucky! 🐺⛳🍻

What a week it has been! Although the weather looks dull, our Sunday roasts are absolute perfection. 🌧️😋 why not come in out of the rain and enjoy one of our beautiful roast dinners.

Food is served from 12-9 💛

•Roast beef served pink, with Yorkshire pudding
•Half roast chicken, sage and apple stuffing, sausage wrapped in bacon
•Roast porchetta, (slow roasted belly) sage and apple stuffing, apple sauce
•Butternut squash, wild mushroom, chestnut and lentil wellington, roast potatoes, vegetables, gravy
•Roast shoulder of lamb, rosemary red w**e gravy
•Mixed roast beef served pink, porchetta and all the trimmings
