While out and about today I visited this vegan eatery called . (Pic of the sign, not very good). Food was amazing. I don't eat or like Okra but the way Tash did it - pan fried with onions and chilli flakes - was amazing 😋 do go when you visit Gambia next.

Off work for two and a half weeks. Nothing to do with COVID-19 just have to take my a/l by the end of March 😜 However with all the shopping restrictions thought I’d try some long lasting vegan foodstuffs. Made my first mushroom 🍄 pie 🥧 last night. Love the one but felt it was lacking in flavour (the Caribbean in me 😉) so made this one really flavoursome. I loooveee 🍰 being vegan, there’s not much choice in the shelves but I’m really useless at baking 🤷🏿‍♀️. Tried out Nigella’s Vegan Lemon 🍋 Tendercake w Strawberry 🍓 Compote. Thought I’d done a great job until I put the two pics (hers and mine) together 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 In my defence, I couldn’t find any coconut yoghurt so substituted with a regular plain plant based one.
