Established in 2002 Basmati is located in Great Barr Birmingham. Restaurant founded by Mr Gulam Kibria in 2002 as expansion of its parent restaurant Neel Akash that was established since 1989 in Wolverhampton. Restaurant has been offering finest Bengali cuisine in the rezone along with its special mouth watering exclusive dishes which has been a demand amongst the dinners since its open in the area. Restaurant menu comprised with dozens of fusion dishes along with some core authentic Indian/Bengali dishes. Restaurant is well known for is consistently producing quality Balti and Curry dishes with high quality Indian spices and serving with exclusive basmati flavours. Basmati prides itself on the high quality of its fresh ingredients. Its suppliers of meat, vegetables and fish and sea foods are among the world's most reputable with client. Basmati offers a quality choice wines, beers and sprits including Indian beers, king fisher and cobra which as been a demand amongst the dinners........

What an incredible night and a very proud moment for all of us! We are absolutely delighted and honoured to have been named Outstanding Restaurant of the Year at the 15th English Curry Awards.

This achievement would not have been possible without the amazing people who have supported us throughout our journey. A HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful team for their continuous hard work, passion and dedication, and to all our fantastic customers who continue to choose us, recommend us and support us year after year.
