On Saturday 12th September, we’re raising a glass to 658 years of history, heritage, stories and memories at one of Birmingham’s most iconic pubs.

Standing proudly in the heart of Digbeth, The Old Crown has been part of Birmingham’s story for centuries. Now, we’re bringing the past and present together for one very special birthday celebration!

Dating all the way back to 1368, the building has witnessed Birmingham grow and transform around it. What was once surrounded by medieval streets and open land is now in the heart of bustling Digbeth - but some things haven’t changed… the doors are still open, the drinks are still flowing, and people are still coming together under the same historic roof. 🍻

And now, as we look back at 658 years of history, we’re getting ready to celebrate the next chapter…

From its beginnings in 1368 to the pub you know today, The Old Crown has been part of Digbeth and Birmingham for centuries.
That’s a lot of history, a lot of pints and, no doubt, a lot of stories along the way.
