This is David Thornton, who visited The Woodman on Saturday, leaving us at approximately 4:30pm before heading to Subside. He was last known to have been seen at around 8:00pm on Saturday and has not been heard from since.

If you have seen David or have any information about his whereabouts, no matter how small it may seem, please get in touch with the police immediately or contact us and we will ensure the information is passed on.

We are thinking of David’s family and friends and hope he is found safe and well.

This 19th-century pub in Birmingham has been restored and won our Conservation Award at CAMRA's Pub Design Awards. ✨

The Grade II listed Woodman dates back to 1897. After the pub fell into disrepair, the owners, Union Inns, set out to carefully restore and protect the pub’s heritage features and multi-roomed layout.

A new wooden floor has been laid, the historic tiled walls have been carefully cleaned and conserved, and the beautiful, ornate woodwork has been restored.

You'll find it next to the Old Curzon Street Station, which is set to be reopened as part of HS2.
