We hope this Ramadan brought you closer to Allah (God) and we pray our fasts, prayers and efforts from this month are accepted Inshallah. May Allah continue to guide us and bless us for what is best for us. Ameen.

Some of us will be feeling the empty presence of those that have been lost, may Allah make it easy and grant Sabr (patience) to everyone. May Allah reunite us with those that we have lost during the past year and continue to give us strength and guidance moving forward.

May Allah ease the pain of those suffering around the world, along with our brothers and sisters in Palestine 🇵🇸❤🤲🏾

We are raising funds to build a mosque in Mujahid Mukhtar's name. Not only was he the owner/manager of Mukhtars sweet centre but the founder of the famous Mukhtars Chilli Sauce.

Muj was a valued member of the community and always went out of his way for people to make them smile and has always been described as a true gentleman.

‎إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajeoon

With a heavy heart we have to announce the passing of Mujahid Mukhtar - the Owner and Manager of Mukhtars Sweet Centre.

Most of you would have known him as "Muj" or as "Elvis" or more importantly the founder of the famous Mukhtars chilli sauce.

It has been 1 week since he has been laid down to rest.

Muj was a hardworking man who put his life and soul into the Mukhtars business. He was dedicated to providing the finest sweets and savouries, where he would never cut corners and truly took pride in all that he done. He would wake up at 4am every day to start work and prepare the freshest food so we could serve quality produce for all our lovely customers. He worked 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the most part of his life up until the Covid pandemic.

We unfortunately had to take precautions and make the difficult decision to close the business last year to protect our family's health and to keep our customers safe. It is with great sadness that Muj unfortunately still caught covid despite trying to keep safe and has now sadly passed away.

Muj really was a valued member of the community who would often go out of his way to make people smile and has been described as a true gentleman and a genuine individual. Please keep him in your duas and we urge every single one of you to stay safe.

Understandably our shop will not be open for business in the near future. Please be patient with us and please continue to check our page/stories for an update moving forward. Inshallah we do hope to reopen the business and continue our family legacy.

Please keep both the founder - Mohammed Mukhtar and the manager/owner - Mujahid Mukhtar both in your duas (prayers).

Large Jars are £10 and the Small Jar is £5. Please Order Now to Avoid Disappointment as we will have Very LIMITED QUANTITY Available! You can place your order via Messenger on the Mukhtar’s FB page and Notify us of a Collection time between 10am-12pm on Friday 8th of January.
We would also Please require a Contact telephone number in case you miss your collection slot on the day.

And so Yes, it’s Probably True, that Mukhtar’s has Saved Christmas by opening for a One Day Xmas Eve Special for All their Loyal Customers waiting on Stand by for us to Open wide our doors since the March Lockdown to Quench their Cravings. Update:

Due to the On Going Corona Virus Outbreak and the Government changes, Please note that we will be staying Closed until we deem it Safe to Re-Open...

We have chosen this Precious time to carry out Essential Refurbishments and to put Safety measures in Place...

The reality is We are still under a Huge crisis around the World...
We must think of those Around us and Not just our Selfishness.

After careful consideration I have decided it is Not the time to Re open. One cannot put a price on Health! I have Lost a number of Beloved friends due to Corona which makes one Re evaluate Everything in Life.

Today marks the 75th anniversary of VE day.
Over 87,000 Indian Soldiers (Including those from Modern day Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh)
Died in World War II.
We Remember the Sacrifice of those who Fought so Bravely to Protect the Freedom of this Country.
"Victory at All Costs, Victory in Spite of All Terror, Victory however Long and Hard the Hard Maybe, for without Mukhtar's, there is No Survival."
