THE MAYOR BACKS THE BIRMINGHAM BALTI with hope to get the Birmingham Balti with Unesco heritage status which would mean genuine balti restaurants like Shababs can proudly serve the iconic brummy dish with their head high, and other ‘curry houses’ would have to take the Birmingham Balti off their menus unless they prepared and served the balti in the correct manner. #1987
