Whilst I know I’m actually Han Solo, my other personalities are the mad scientist and the ordinary bloke!!

Had a dream back in 1998, got diverted along the way and now I’m dialling it back to 2023 but with a bit more maturity hahahahaha

See you Sunday and if you’re there swing thru and say hi!!

Highbury Hall, Sunday 24th May!

Started with a desire, created an idea, kicked off with the first ever event in Summer 2023 with 0 experience, proved the concept would work was a really painful process learnt a lot the really difficult way. Made a choice, all or nothing jacked in my career and went 100% into establishing The Goat King. April 2024 bought a restaurant as I needed a kitchen to work from….. whole different story for that!!!!

Coming around full circle bit more prepared however as you read this everything I need aside from the goat itself I don’t have!! Am I looney maybe, do I love what I do 100%

I was fortunate to have got onto a business incubator being run in conjunction with Digbeth Dining Club, NCAAS and West Midlands Combined Authority this has really helped with understanding just how my approach, sheer passion and drive can in fact be organised and help me grow The Goat King community.

Local produce, local businesses and a narrative that is real. I am terrible for socials this video was meant to go out about a month ago, in fact its only going out now because a friend is helping to make it happen, I just needed to write this :)

If you have read this far then please do make the most of your Sunday and come along too Highbury Hall where Digbeth Dining Club and the Hare & Hounds are hosting and myself along with 7 other vendors will be putting out food that will make your soul happy!!!

We will have a limited Goat curry being served with roti, 70 portions of our slow cooked signature 15th century recipe and 70 portions of the slow cooked I wanna make your tastebuds or**sm. The 2 Boer goats are from Radmore Farm and every bit of love from raising them in Towchester to cooking them in Birmingham will be an experience to share and enjoy!

See you on Sunday

Hidden away in Brum’s Jewellery Quarter (JQ), we’ve been cultivating the most unique food and drink-centric experience — where the vibe of the evening is all about fun, indulgence, and enjoying the company of the people you love most.
Last month we hosted the amazing team behind Sitara Rum and Skylark Spirits. We paired their incredible range of rums (from India to Uganda) with expertly crafted cocktails and a 7-course meat feast featuring the very best of British game meat. The night was elevated by the powerful vocals of Jatti Cheed, the beats of Bal on the Dholki, and the smooth melodies of Nil’s guitar.
Limited seats available for the next exclusive evening. You must have passed our vibe check to join in 😉

Taking a moment tonight at the start of Spring and the New Year, where I’ve spent the day in the restaurant and the evening at my local Gurdwara immersed in washing the food trays from tonight’s congregation that had gathered to celebrate the birth of the Khalsa.

Khalsa stands for a dynamic, heroic spirituality: pure devotion to the Divine, fearless defense of human rights and dignity, equality for all, and a life of moral strength where spiritual wisdom (bhagti) and righteous action (shakti) unite. It transformed ordinary people into a sovereign community capable of upholding justice in the face of oppression.

From me and my family to our extended Goat King family Happy Vaisakhi!
