it’s new menu week & roast updates

some old favourites back for another month, including the chicken parm from a while ago & finally indulging my true trendy london restaurant dreams of putting chocolate mousse on the menu, it was only a matter of time really

no sunslay lunch until easter now, but excitingly me and richard will be cooking each sunday all the way through until the end of may 🤩 bookings will go live end of the week

We’re back from our holidays!

Here’s the January menu, rediscovered the joy of saffron I was making risotto with and couldn’t stop eating salsa mojo while I was in lanzarote. It’s like a spicy, tangy red pepper sauce not unlike romesco but without tomatoes, super great to cut through the rich fat of lamb shanks.

Anyway thanks for reading, should I be a food writer lol

we’re doing roasts in january starting next week, tables for the next two weeks are available now so book in if you fancy it

Hiya, big news!

We’re bringing the charity bake sale back to raise money for the Gaza crisis appeal.

Come to bean on the 10th December to buy bits from some of Birmingham’s best bakers. We’ve always had an amazing turnout for these so really looking forward to seeing you all.

If you’re a professional baker and would like to donate your sweet or savoury bakes pls pls get in touch. We’ll also be doing our gigantic raffle if you’d like to donate something that isn’t cake!
