Our latest rotating single origin is now available on the website, and it’s a beautiful washed Red Bourbon from Rwanda’s Nyamasheke district.

This one is smooth and sweet with bright acidity and depth of body and would occupy a similar spot in your brew cupboard to the Colombia Cauca that we had out recently.

I hope you enjoy it and I think it’ll probably be on for about a month or so before the next switch around!

We’ve decided to go a bit more classic on our latest single origin. This is a comforting and rich Colombian, produced by smallholder farmers in the Cauca region of the Colombian Andes. It has a beautifully rich and comforting flavour and has been a staple at the Kings Heath Coffee breakfast table these last few weeks!

It’s roasted to a level that gives super body and richness while preserving notes of the more citrus acidity that come through nicely in the cup.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

Excited to be heading back to Longbridge this Sunday, 6th September for the wonderful artisan market over at Herberts Yard! Weather’s looking good and as always there will be loads of great local traders so hope to see you there!

As usual we’ll be stocking whole bean coffee on the stand but if you’d like a ground bag then please feel free to send me a DM in advance of the market and I can grind one up and bring it along for you!

We’ve tested and rested our latest Light Roast, now available on the website. It’s a super sweet Centroamericano varietal bean from Costa Rica’s historic Aquiares estate.

The acidity is bright and sweet, with tasting notes that remind us particularly of Tropical Fruit and Apple. I’m enjoying this most through the V60 filter but it’s also been great through the espresso machine (best done with a slightly longer shot than normal to make sure the acidity is suitably mellowed into sweetness).

Hope you enjoy! We should have enough for this to stay on for a month or so before we rotate the next light roast in!
