Just want to stress how important communication is to a small business.
I have had 2 cancellations with no notice and 4 people have missed their scheduled payment deadline.

Imagine I make your order 2 days late and don't even let you know. I would be slandered everywhere as to how I have let you down/ruined the celebration. It's not fair. When we make a booking our terms are made perfectly clear. Final payment is due a week before no later.
It has a huge impact on me my family and my business when payments aren't made on time.

I've never been so close to giving it all up!
As much as I love what I do it is my JOB and just like most people I work to be able to live and support my kids.
I will be changing my policy to include a late payment fee and all deposits will have to be 50% going forward. I refuse to let other people's lack of communication and respect ruin everything I work so hard for.

Grease is my all time favourite movie, has been since I was about 8 years old so this was one i thoroughly enjoyed creating!

It genuinely guts me when I have to say no to booking people in, Especially regulars I have created for years for. Please get your dates booked in as soon as you can my diary is filling up for the last half of 2026 and 2027 is already wedding mad.

Going forward I will be booking work around my family not the other way round especially over Xmas and school holidays, it's a priorities thing. šŸ„°

Also a heads up, Unfortunately our prices will be increasing for 2027
Anything booked in for next year this week will be charged at current prices, this goes for all current quotes I have given. šŸŽ‚šŸ„°šŸ˜˜

I love the sun, I do not love the sun when it's blazing and I have to bake cakes!
Gorgeous cakes and this heat do not mix! Please arrange to collect as late as possible and make sure you have fridge space to store your cake until use. Oh and ...pray for me šŸ„µšŸ”„šŸŽ‚šŸ§
