Vikings and Italy…

Western Rome fell roughly 300 years before the first Viking raid. Eastern Rome continued and many Vikings enrolled in the Varingian Guard in Byzans. This eventually culminated in the formation of the Varangian Guard.

The Vikings first arrived in Wirral over 1100 years ago circa 902AD.

This weekend, the Vikings at Leasowe Castle will be conquering Piadina Pronto and their Italian delights. Be sure to grab yours, before it’s too late and we’re wiped out!
