So proud of this amazing 7-year-old baker who joined my private gluten-free & dairy free baking class today! 👩‍🍳✨ From mixing ingredients to decorating delicious cupcakes, she showed so much creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm in the kitchen. It was wonderful to see her excitement while learning new gluten free baking skills in a fun and safe gluten-free environment. Great job, little baker — your future is looking sweet! 🍪🧁💛

Today's class was 3 hours We learned how to bake and decorate a Victoria sponge and cupcakes.

We also discussed how to read food labels when looking for gluten eg. WHEAT BARLEY RYE
Cross contamination
And how Xantham gum works as a replacement for gluten in baking.

I work closely with people with Dementia.
I'm a Wellbeing Coordinator at Allandale Care Group, Heathermount & The Croft who plans and runs activities that help older adults stay socially connected, mentally stimulated, physically active, and emotionally supported.
My job means the world to me and is so rewarding so this is why I ask for a small donation for Dementia UK.

A fabulous start to the Easter half term. We had a great time today at our Gluten and dairy free kids Easter cupcake decorating class.
These classes are seasonal and are not for profit at just £5 per child. . Every penny goes back onto classes for equipment and ingredients. Today saw our new addition of aprons for everyone.
I love the way we are building these classes between us all. The children are the focus and always have a great time in a fun and safe environment.
Lots of new faces and some regulars attended. I had a great time seeing you all getting so creative.
We really. Couldn't get any more sweets on our cakes today which is the way it should be . It is Easter after all !! Well done everyone and I'll see you at the next class which is Our summer one in the 6 weeks holidays. Remember to send me your theme ideas for cupcake decorating!!
